Overview
A rapid, accessible diagnostic tool for assessing preeclampsia risk where laboratory infrastructure is limited.
The Lumella system provides semi-quantitative measurement of glycosylated fibronectin (GlyFN) in fingerstick whole blood to assess the risk of pre-eclampsia during pregnancy. It is designed for use at HCIII and HCIV level, giving antenatal teams an objective screening result within minutes.
Objectives
- Strengthen antenatal screening for preeclampsia
- Enable early detection at HCIII / HCIV level
- Improve clinical management of at-risk mothers
- Enhance referral systems and emergency care
- Increase community awareness
- Build data systems for monitoring & evaluation
